The small and mysterious cemetery of the Light Worshippers in Michałowice is located in the wooded hills of the Karkonosze region. It was established at the end of the 19th century and is associated with an ancient religious sect of Light Worshippers, whose beliefs stemmed from Old Germanic, Christian, and Eastern religions traditions. It is unique due to its unusual character and the presence of runic symbols on the gravestones. Although it is not entirely clear why it was established in a remote and wooded area, it is presumed to have been a burial site for the sect's followers. Currently, the cemetery has been organized by the Michałowice community and serves as a testament to the spiritual quests of the late 19th century and an interesting historical site.
