It is the third building erected in the same place and the only one that has survived numerous wartime preturbations. The facade of the building has been restored and preserved in accordance with its original appearance. It is decorated with coat-of-arms cartouches, while in the interiors one can admire decorative stucco, antique stoves, and partially preserved furniture that once furnished the Palace. It currently belongs to the Wroclaw University of Technology.

SAINT ANNE'S CHAPEL IN SOSNÓWKA

Saint Anne's Chapel is located on the slope of Grabowiec (784 meters above sea level) and can be reached via the yellow tourist trail from Sosnówka. The charming Chapel was built on an ellipse plan, and its center is decorated with paintings of Saint Anne with Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Inside is a pulpit, two altars and a statue of St. Lawrence, moved from the chapel on Snezhka in 1812. The biggest attraction is the spring that juts out just below the chapel - it is called the Good Spring or the Spring of Love. There are many local legends and stories circulating around it, giving uniqueness to the place. It is said that pagan rituals took place here and thanks to them the water gained healing properties.

CITY MUSEUM , "GERHART HAUPTMANN HOUSE".

While in the Giant Mountains, be sure to visit the Gerhart Hauptmann House in Jagniątkow, where the Nobel Prize winner lived and worked until his last days. The playwright, novelist and 1912 Nobel Prize winner is permanently etched in the memory of Karkonosze. The museum provides seven rooms that showcase the artist's work and creativity. Among other things, you can see the writer's study, library, dining room, fireplace room and a beautiful hall, decorated with polychrome work done in 1922 by J. M. Avenarius - called , "Paradise Hall" because of the subject matter of the paintings.

CHOJNIK CASTLE

Chojnik Castle was built on top of a mountain (627 meters above sea level), on the edge of a 150-meter cliff, called Hell Valley. It is associated with the legend of Princess Kunegunda, daughter of a wealthy castellan, whose hand was sought by many, but the winner was the one who dared to ride around the castle walls on horseback. The Devil's Valley engulfed many knights, trying to accomplish the almost impossible task. Many years elapsed until a daredevil was found who fulfilled Kunegunda's condition. He went around the castle, but humiliated the princess, with the memory of all those who died because of her cruel wish. The girl, covered in shame, threw herself into the abyss, taking her own life.

TYROLEAN HOUSES AND THE TYROLEAN MUSEUM IN MYSŁAKOWICE

Thanks to King Friedrich Wilhelm III, who decided to give his lands to build houses for Tyrolean immigrants, 65 Tyrolean houses were built in the late 1870s. The refuge was given to Tyroleans who had been exiled from their country for religious reasons. The houses are located in Mysłakowice, and a museum has been set up in one of them, where you can learn about the history of the arrival of the Tyroleans in the Jeleniogórska Valley.

RUINS OF PRINCE HENRYK'S CASTLE

On the picturesque hill of Grodno (506 meters above sea level), in a small forest, is the hunting castle of Prince Henry (German: Heinrichsburg), built in 1806. A few years ago, the building was renovated, making the viewing tower available, from which a beautiful panorama of the Karkonosze Mountains can be seen.

EVANGELICAL HOUSE OF PRAYER KROMNÓW IN ŁOMNICA

This beautiful House of Prayer in Lomnica is a faithful reconstruction of the church built by Evangelical believers in Rzasnik in 1748. After World War II, the church fell into disrepair and was slated for demolition. The salvaged parts of the building were taken to Lomnica, where Polish and German carpenters, using traditional techniques, rebuilt it according to the original plan. Visiting this architectural gem, you can feel the spirit of the past, as well as appreciate the craftsmanship of the old craftsmen.

WANG CHURCH IN KARPACZ

Wang Church in Karpacz is one of the most important monuments in Karkonosze. The wooden temple, originally built in the 12th century in Norway, auctioned off by the Prussian king, Frederick William IV, and later moved from Norway, is an excellent example of Nordic architecture. The church was rebuilt on the slope of Black Mountain in the Giant Mountains. The reconstruction took a lot of effort, but managed to preserve the characteristic features of the architectural style, including runes and Nordic motifs. Walking through the interior of the temple, you can feel like you are in a medieval story starring Vikings and Nordic dragons.

CASTLE RUINS IN STARE KAMIENNA

The ruins of Stara Kamienica Castle are a story full of intrigue, alterations and changing owners. The original castle, probably surrounded by a moat, completely changed its appearance as a result of an expansion by Caspar II Schaff in the Renaissance style in the 16th century. Unfortunately, a fire in 1616 and subsequent events related to the history of the region led to the destruction and final demolition of the castle in the 19th century. Today, only the ruins of the tower, the vaulted cellars and the stone bridge over the moat remain, open to the public as a "permanent ruin." This place is a fascinating example of the history of one of the most important knightly families in Silesia.

POST-CISTER MONASTERY IN WARMLICE

The monastery in Cieplice is a place where history and spirituality merge. The contribution of the Cistercians, who have lived here since 1403, to the development of the spa is invaluable. The monastery building is part of a Baroque establishment that was once a branch of the Krzeszów monastery, which was built in 1586-1587, and a hundred years later extensively rebuilt in the late Renaissance style. The interiors are decorated with paintings dedicated to, among others, St. Bernard and frescoes with a rich iconographic program. Part of the building is now home to the Natural History Museum, which includes the Virtual Museum of Baroque Frescoes in Lower Silesia. After many transformations and a period of secularization, the building's grounds are now used precisely by the Natural History Museum, a Roman Catholic parish and the College of the Piarist Order.
